Hey Combat Box pilots and @patreon-supporters! We're thrilled to announce the kickoff of our latest campaign: Apollo Rhineland Unlimited! There's no major overhauls for this event – we're building on the solid foundation you know and love from previous campaigns. (We're expecting a smooth, [mostly] crash-free experience throughout the entire campaign.) Expect the same high-stakes dogfights, bombing runs, and tactical maneuvers that make Combat Box the go-to spot for authentic aerial combat.
To ramp up the action, right out of the gate, every available plane and modification will be unlocked from the start. However, advanced assets like 150-octane fuel for the Allies and Me 262 jets for the Axis are directly tied to airfield supply levels. This makes airfields the absolute kingpins of the campaign – protect yours, raid the enemy's, and watch how it shifts the balance of power! As with previous campaigns, disrupting enemy supply chains isn't just a side objective; it's the key to turning the tide of the war, and now it will also cripple the enemy's top-tier tech.
For Allies (150-Octane Fuel Mechanics):
For Axis (Me 262 Jets):
Low supply: Limited to 1 airframe per day
Very low supply: no jets.
The Apollo campaign will run from January 1, 1945, to October 15, 1945, giving us months of escalating battles across the Rhineland theater. Making the campaign last approximately, 24 real days at 12 missions per day or until one side wins. Whether you're flying patrol, escorting bombers, or leading ground attacks, every mission counts toward victory. Gear up, coordinate with your squad, and let's make this campaign legendary!
